Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join the hemodialysis health care team in the acute care setting. Under RN supervision, you will assist in delivering safe and effective dialysis therapy, monitor patient vitals, and help maintain a clean, safe treatment area.

Candidates should hold a High School Diploma and a valid PCT certification, with 1–2 years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required or equivalent.
• Must have a valid PCT national certification or state-specific certification as defined by CMS.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care under the supervision of the FMCNA RN for assigned patient(s) in the acute setting.
• Takes vitals, monitors during dialysis treatment, and ensures safety and hygiene in the work area.
• Assists in cannulation and setup of dialysis equipment as directed by the RN.
