Job summary

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- BSN required within 5 years of hire.
- 1 year of relevant nursing experience.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Virginia (Virginia RN).
- AHA Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
Responsibilities
- Delivering comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care to adult medicine patients.
- Perform ongoing patient assessments and identify changes in clinical condition.
- Collaborating with physicians, hospitalists, pharmacists, therapists, case managers, and other team members.
- Coordinating care plans and supporting safe patient transitions.
- Educating patients and families on treatment plans and recovery goals.
- Participating in shared governance, practice councils, and quality initiatives.
