Job summary

Satellite Healthcare seeks an Acute Dialysis Nurse to deliver hospital-based dialysis care. You will lead the dialysis team, guide the Acute PCT, and use your nursing expertise to ensure safe, effective patient care.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, maintain a patient-centric approach, and contribute to our mission of improving life for kidney disease patients with high energy and a commitment to excellence.

Qualifications

• RN licensed with current license in California.
• One-year dialysis experience preferred.
• Nephrology Certification within one year of eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide dialysis care to hospital patients as an Acute Dialysis Nurse.
• Direct and assist the Acute Patient Care Technician (Acute PCT) in patient care.
• Make independent clinical decisions using professional nursing knowledge.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.

The Acute Nurse is required to make independent decisions using professional nursing knowledge. The Acute Nurse directs, assists, and is the primary resource for the Acute Patient Care Technician (Acute PCT) providing direct services to the patients.

Education

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Graduation from an accredited nursing school or equivalent BSN preferred

Experience

One-year dialysis experience preferred Nephrology Certification within one year of eligibility to take the test

Certification/License

Current state license as a Registered Nurse Current CPR certification
