Job summary

Satellite Healthcare is seeking a Staff Nurse to actively participate in professional development activities, quality assessment and the review and clinical application of research findings. The Staff Nurse provides ethically sound practice following Nephrology Nursing Standards and state Scope of Practices.

You will work with a multi-disciplinary team focused on kidney disease, prioritizing patient-centered care and continuous improvement, and will lead initiatives to enhance care environments

Qualifications

• One year of registered nurse experience is preferred.
• Minimum 3 months (California & Tennessee) or 6 months (Texas) of dialysis experience required.
• Combination of in-center and/or acute hemodialysis experience is required.

Experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

One (1) year of registered nurse experience. Minimum 3 months (California & Tennessee) or 6 months (Texas) of experience as a Nephrology Nurse with dialysis experience required; a combination of in-center, and/ or acute, hemodialysis required

Education

Graduation from an accredited nursing school or equivalent

License/Certification

Current, active, unencumbered state RN licensure Current Healthcare Provider certification (CPR) required

Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Competent and in-depth knowledge regarding the use of Electronic Health Records Ability to organize, prioritize and complete projects independently
