Job summary

Core Dialysis in Texas seeks a compassionate Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse to deliver dialysis care in acute care settings across hospitals. You will follow the nursing process, monitor patients, administer medications, and ensure safety and compliance.

The role offers full-time or PRN positions, with shifts Monday–Sunday and on-call coverage. Certification is welcome but not required; ACLS valued. Texas RN license and BLS CPR are required.

Qualifications

Texas RN license in good standing.
Current BLS CPR certification.
Minimum 2 years acute nursing, preferably dialysis.
Ability to work 32+ hours weekly, including call-outs.
Ability to follow safety protocols and COVID-19 policies.

Responsibilities

Administer dialysis procedures to acute care patients and document care.
Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis.
Prepare, administer, and document prescribed medications.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop patient care plans.
Respond to emergencies and provide critical care as needed.
Maintain compliance with policies, regulations, and equipment standards.
Educate patients and families about dialysis, treatment plans, and infection control.
Rotate shifts and participate in on-call coverage.
