U.S. Renal Care in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Acute Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality dialysis care in the hospital setting.

This role emphasizes teamwork, compassionate patient interactions, and delivering urgent dialysis services to patients with kidney disease. The RN will assess patients before and after treatment, initiate and terminate dialysis, administer medications, and educate patients.

Qualifications

  • Current RN license in the applicable state.
  • 12+ months nursing experience preferred.
  • Dialysis or nephrology experience preferred.
  • CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, compassionate acute dialysis care in collaboration with physicians and hospital care teams.
  • Perform patient assessments before and after treatment and monitor patients throughout therapy.
  • Initiate and terminate dialysis treatments, including catheter care.
  • Administer medications and provide patient education as ordered.
  • Provide dialysis therapies such as Hemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis, CRRT, and TPE.
  • Maintain dialysis equipment and complete required safety, water quality, and infection control checks.
  • Accurately document treatments, assessments, and patient information.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, hospital nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Support quality initiatives focused on improving patient outcomes and reducing hospitalizations.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment and assist with staff training and development.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring
  • Current RN license in the applicable state or a valid compact license, in good standing.
  • 12+ months of current nursing experience preferred.
  • Previous dialysis or nephrology experience preferred.
  • Current CPR certification through an approved program.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn required clinical applications.
  • Ability to meet applicable state, hospital, and program-specific requirements.
