Henry Ford Health in Detroit is seeking a Dialysis Clinical Technician to join our Acute Dialysis team. You will deliver dialysis treatments, monitor patients, and maintain dialysis equipment in a busy hospital setting.

The role emphasizes teamwork with nephrology, nurses, and other specialists, adherence to infection control, and ongoing education to improve patient outcomes. A CCHT certification is required within 18 months, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Dialysis technician training program completed preferred.
Certification as a Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) required within 18 months of employment.

Responsabilités

Deliver dialysis treatments following prescribed protocols and physician orders.
Monitor patients during treatment—vital signs, changes in condition, and patient safety.
Set up and operate dialysis machines; perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed.
Educate patients and families about dialysis procedures, diet, and self-care.
Maintain meticulous treatment records for each patient.
Uphold infection control and safety standards in the dialysis unit.
