Job summary

Banner University Medical Center Tucson, part of Banner Health, seeks a CT Technologist to perform prescribed CT procedures with a focus on image quality and patient safety. The role offers day, evening, and night full-time shifts in a fast-paced, academic imaging department.

Requirements include ARRT/NMTCB certification, AZ licensure, BLS, and a CT certification within 18 months. Candidates should bring strong communication and teamwork skills to a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• National Certification required from ARRT or NMTCB and AZ/WY/NV state licensure prior to hire, CT certification preferred.
• Advanced ARRT CT certification preferred within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs prescribed radiology procedures by following orders and policies.
• Educates patients and families regarding procedures and treatment.
• Produces high quality images and maintains accurate documentation.
• Maintains equipment quality control and troubleshooting.
• Ensures a safe environment and adheres to safety policies.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and professional responsibilities.

AZ/WY/NV State Licensure (Radiography or Nuclear Medicine)

ARRT/NMTCB Certification

BLS Certification

Two years clinical experience
