Qualifications

• 1-2 yrs ultrasound training from an accredited program.
• Must have passed ARDMS.
• Must have passed abdominal or OB/GYN and physics/instrumentation.
• 1-2 yrs ultrasound experience (clinical training acceptable).
• BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform various ultrasound examinations.
• Provide preliminary results and interpretations to radiologists and physicians.
• Set equipment properly for imaging and optimize image quality.
• Assist Radiologists with invasive procedures as needed.
• Educate imaging students and staff on scanning methods.
• Maintain equipment and supplies; perform quality control.
