Job description

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Surgeon to help expand our Acute Care and Trauma Surgery service line at our new hospital campus in Frisco, Texas. This is an employed career opportunity with a comprehensive benefits package, offering work-life balance, a competitive salary, productivity bonus, moving allowance, and no state income tax.

Opportunity Highlights:

  1. The candidate should be interested and comfortable providing both acute care and trauma services.
  2. Join an established group expanding coverage at our new hospital in North Frisco, Texas, near the PGA.
  3. Estimated 8-9 (24-hour) shifts per month.
  4. The provider will primarily handle acute care cases during designated call days each month.
  5. The provider will likely host 1-2 clinic days for post-op and follow-up patients.
  6. This position does not include elective practice options.
  7. There is no critical care component in this role.

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate Degree in Medicine
  • Licensed to practice medicine in Texas by the Texas Medical Board
  • Board certified or actively pursuing certification in your specialty, as defined by the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
