Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Surgeon to help expand our Acute Care and Trauma Surgery service line at our brand-new hospital campus located in Frisco, Texas. This is an employed career opportunity with a generous benefits package that offers work-life balance, a competitive salary, productivity bonus, moving allowance, and no state income tax.

Opportunity Highlights:

  • The candidate will need to be interested and comfortable in providing both acute care and trauma services.
  • Opportunity will be joining an established group that is expanding coverage at our new hospital campus located in North Frisco, Texas near the PGA
  • Estimated 8-9 (24hr) shifts per month.
  • Provider will primarily handle acute care cases generated from a specified number of call days each month.
  • The provider will also likely host 1-2 clinic days to assist with post-op/ follow-up patients.
  • No option for an elective practice.
  • The opportunity does not include a critical care component.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Doctorate Degree in Medicine

· Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board

· Where Applicable- Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
