Job summary

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution with ACGME residency completion.
• Board-eligible or board-certified; fellowship required.
• Eligibility for Nevada medical license, DEA and appropriate credentialing.
• Experience in academic medical settings and research preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma care, surgical critical care, burns, and emergency general surgery.
• Active clinical participation on the University Medical Center team and on-call duties.
• Student and resident teaching, plus involvement in research and scholarly activity.
• Engage in education of medical students, residents and fellows; contribute to simulation training.
