Job summary

Sinai Hospital of Baltimore is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Acute Care Surgeon to join our growing Division of Acute Care Surgery. The role offers high-acuity trauma, surgical critical care, and emergency general surgery in a well-supported, academically engaged environment with an experienced multidisciplinary team.

Located in Northwest Baltimore, Sinai is a Level II Trauma Center with robust APP support, resident education, and ongoing clinical research opportunities.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible acute care surgeon with expertise in trauma, surgical critical care and emergency general surgery.
• Experience in an academic, teaching environment with multidisciplinary teams is preferred.
• Active involvement in resident education and clinical research opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Full-time employed position in Baltimore, MD.
• Coordinate with interns, residents, and APP teams to deliver high-acuity care.
• Manage 1–2 weeks of Acute Care Surgery service per month.
• Participate in surgical critical care time and Northwest Hospital emergency surgery coverage every 2–3 months.
• Adhere to call schedules (5 weekdays and 1 weekend per month) and participate in additional paid call as eligible.
