Job summary

TriHealth Good Samaritan Hospital is seeking a patient care assistant to support nurses in the 15AB unit. The role focuses on basic activities of daily living and procedures under RN supervision, with opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic cardiovascular and surgical setting.

The 15AB unit at TriHealth Good Samaritan Hospital specializes in providing comprehensive care for patients undergoing vascular, plastic, and general surgical procedures. Our experienced team cares for patients recovering from a wide range of surgeries, including abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) repair, carotid endarterectomy, femoral-popliteal bypass, abdominal surgeries, and fasciotomies. Additionally, we support patients undergoing reconstructive procedures such as TRAM flap surgeries, mastectomies with reconstruction, and mammoplasty reductions.

In addition to our surgical focus, the 15AB unit also provides care for various medical patients requiring close monitoring. We are equipped with telemetry monitoring to track cardiac rhythms and manage cardiac drips, ensuring our patients receive the highest level of care during their stay.

Our unit is designed to offer a supportive environment for both patients and staff, with a focus on collaboration and ongoing education.
