Job summary

University of California, Davis Health seeks a skilled RN for the Davis 12 unit, a 36-bed acute postoperative telemetry setting. The role focuses on care using the nursing process, quality improvement, leadership, and ongoing professional development on a 12-hour night shift.

The position is 100% on-site at Main Hospital (HSP001), with competitive hourly pay and benefits. A BSN is preferred and admission requires valid CA RN licensure and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Valid California RN license without restriction.
• AHA/Red Cross BLS or UC Davis Health CPR.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• At least 1 year of recent acute care medical or post operative surgical experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to utilize medical terminology appropriately.
• Knowledge of current trends in nursing.
• Commitment to excellence in patient care.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates accountability and professionalism.
