Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora is seeking registered nurses to join Acute Care Surgical Units, caring for a diverse patient population recovering from complex procedures within an academic health system. This onsite role offers Days, Nights, rotating shifts with Full Time, Part Time, or PRN opportunities.

You will deliver direct patient care using the nursing process, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support education by precepting and mentoring new staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure.
• 6 months RN experience.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross; active prior to start and valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Precept and mentor new staff; support clinical education and orientation.
