Job summary

MyStethi, LLC in Evanston, IL, seeks an experienced General Surgeon to join our multispecialty division with acute care/trauma focus. You will cover Level 1 Trauma at Evanston Hospital and Level 2 Trauma calls at Skokie, Glenbrook, Highland Park, and Swedish Hospitals, with post-op clinic duties.

The team includes 29 partners and 9 trauma surgeons; salary range is $356,838–$585,908 annually, based on experience. IL license or pending, DEA license, BC/BE, and 5+ years preferred.

Qualifications

• MD/DO required.
• IL license or pending approval.
• DEA license required.
• BC/BE board certification.
• 5+ years experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coverage of in-house Level 1 Trauma and Emergency General Surgery at Evanston Hospital.
• Coverage of Level 2 Trauma Call and Emergency General Surgery at Skokie, Glenbrook, Highland Park Hospitals.
• Coverage of Emergency General Surgery Call at Swedish Hospital.
• Four to six hours per month of general surgery post op clinic.
• Coverage (Optional) of critical care in the Surgical ICU at Evanston and Skokie Hospitals.
• Oversees residency and fellowship programs through the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.
• Teaching opportunities, academic appointment.
• Research opportunities are available for interested and qualified candidates.
