Job summary

UNC Rex Healthcare in Raleigh, NC seeks a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Acute Care Surgeon to join North Carolina Surgery at Raleigh on a per-diem basis. The role focuses on inpatient acute care surgery with 12-hour shifts.

You will work with a collaborative team within a large health system, providing high-quality care for adults, with license and certifications required including NC license, BLS and ACLS.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery preferred
• Active North Carolina medical license or ability to obtain
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient acute care surgery for adults.
• Operate in a per-diem, 12-hour shift model (7a–7p or 7p–7a).
