SAMGI is seeking a full-time Acute Care Surgeon for Regional Medical Center in Paducah, Kentucky. The role offers a $435,000 annual salary and a balanced 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off schedule to support living a rich life outside the OR.

The program features a new Acute Care Surgery service with a collaborative 2-surgeon team, dedicated emergency medicine staff, and on-site IR & GI. You’ll focus on consults and operative cases, backed by strong operational support.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery is required.
• Active Kentucky medical license or eligibility is required.
• Commitment to collaborative, team-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Consultative and operative acute care surgery including emergency general surgery.
• Inpatient management and post-operative care under a 2-surgeon team.
• On-site hospital support with dedicated ER physicians, hospitalists, IR and GI.
