The Opportunity

Surgical Affiliates Management Group (SAMGI) is seeking an experienced, Board-Certified Trauma Surgeon to serve as Trauma Medical Director at an ACS-verified Level III Trauma Center with 200+ beds in Northern California.

This is a dual clinical and leadership opportunity combining active practice in Trauma and Acute Care Surgery with physician leadership, quality oversight, and trauma program development.

As part of a physician-led organization, you'll have the infrastructure and administrative support to focus on what matters most: clinical leadership, high-quality surgical care, and building a strong trauma program.

The Location

Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada are within easy reach, while Sacramento provides excellent dining, arts, entertainment, and a major international airport. The region offers many of the advantages of Northern California without the density and cost associated with the coastal metropolitan areas.

  • Provide comprehensive Trauma and Acute Care Surgery patient care
  • Respond to trauma activations and acute surgical consultations
  • Perform trauma and emergency general surgery procedures as clinically indicated
  • Manage Acute Care Surgery consultations and operative cases
