Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking an Acute Care Surgeon in Rockville, MD to lead wound care initiatives in SNFs across the area. This no-call role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with full-time or part-time options and a focus on autonomy outside traditional hospital environments.

You will continue to use surgical debridement and bedside procedures while avoiding 24-hour trauma shifts and high-pressure productivity targets. Training is provided for comprehensive wound care practice.

Qualifications

Acute Care Surgeon Schedule

We offer consistent weekday schedules with no nights or weekends, in part-time or full-time options:

• Part-Time: 2-3 days per week

Acute Care Surgeon Requirements

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one)
