Job summary

Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital Pensacola seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide PRN speech therapy in the Acute Care department. Qualifications

• BLS within 1 month of hire date required (AHA or ARC accepted).
• Florida SLP license required; provisional license accepted until issued.
• License must be obtained within 12 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Perform therapy interventions using standard techniques for patient conditions.
• Educate and counsel patients and families regarding treatment plans.
• Maintain clinical records and participate in performance improvement.
• Plan or assist with patient discharge from speech therapy services.
