Job summary

Kettering Health Network is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist I (Option 3) to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. You will work with interdisciplinary teams to support recovery and educate patients and families for optimal outcomes.

The role requires a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Ohio licensure or eligibility, and CCC-SLP or eligibility within the required timeframe.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Completion of supervised clinical practicum required for licensure.
• Current Ohio license or eligibility to obtain prior to start as issued by the Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA, or eligibility to obtain within required post-hire timeframe per state regulations.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within orientation period and prior to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support recovery and maximize outcomes.
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and maximize functional abilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned in alignment with Kettering Health's mission and B Safe program.
