Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited program.
• Licensure in Maryland and ASHA certification.
• Current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Uses objective evaluation techniques to assess speech, language, cognitive, voice and swallowing limitations and medical condition of patients.
• Prescribes and implements a treatment program designed to return patients to maximum function.
• Collaborates with all members of the multidisciplinary health care team to maximize patient and team outcomes.
• Promotes improvement in service, department and hospital systems to benefit patient care.
• Incorporates and operationalizes the goals and objectives of the organization.
