Job summary

The Johns Hopkins Hospital is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join our Rehab Therapy Services. Under supervision, you will assess speech, language, cognitive, voice and swallowing disorders and design a targeted treatment plan to restore function.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes and advance hospital care. Required: Master’s in Speech Pathology, Maryland state licensure, ASHA certification, and CPR training; hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Maryland state licensure and ASHA certification.
• Current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, cognitive, voice and swallowing limitations and medical conditions.
• Prescribe and implement a treatment program to restore maximum function.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary health care team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Support department and hospital system improvements to enhance patient care.
