Job summary

Memorial Hermann is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and rehabilitate patients with communication and swallowing disorders. The role serves as a resource to other SLPs, provides training, and supports program development while delivering compassionate, evidence-based care.

Requirements include a graduate degree in Speech/Language Pathology, Texas license, ASHA certification, BLS, and at least two years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited university-based program.
• Current license to practice Speech/Language Pathology by the Texas Board of Examiners for Speech Pathology and Audiology.
• ASHA certification.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Minimum of two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility in the care of the patient.
• Performs complete, comprehensive evaluation of patients with physician referral.
• Interprets evaluation findings and completes a written plan of care.
• Implements a Speech/Language Pathology treatment program.
• Mentors students and interns as a clinical resource.
