Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our Acute Care rehabilitation team at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center. You will evaluate, treat, and document care for patients with cognitive deficits and neurological/Swallowing impairments.

You will set goals, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient independence and recovery.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Connecticut licensure in Speech-Language Pathology is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive evaluations.
• Establishes functional goals based on evaluation results to maximize independence.
• Interacts with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams and maintains professional relationships.
• Completes all documentation in accordance with standards.
