Job summary

Prisma Health's Greenville Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide direct patient care in an acute inpatient setting, with a focus on patient/family-centered care, safety, and evidence-based practice.

You will develop and update individualized plans of care, collaborate with physicians and the care team, coordinate post-discharge planning, and participate in quality improvement activities; weekend, holiday and on-call work may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN licensure in good standing to practice in SC.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to assigned medical/surgical patients in an acute inpatient setting.
• Collaborates with physicians and care team to develop and modify patient care plans.
• Maintains patient safety and complies with infection control and quality improvement standards.
• Documents nursing assessments, plans, interventions and patient responses.
• Assists with discharge planning and patient/family education.
• Performs day-to-day nursing tasks as defined by the unit’s policies and procedures.

Education

Associate degree in Nursing
