Job summary

Baptist Health in Kentucky is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Short Stay Unit to provide direct nursing care from admission to discharge on a 7a-7p shift. This full-time role requires ADN and Kentucky RN licensure, with ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS completed within specified timelines and ongoing crisis prevention training.

Qualifications

ADN required from an accredited program and Kentucky RN license.
ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
NIHSS within 6 months of hire.
Mandatory nonviolent crisis prevention training completed prior to end of orientation and renewed annually.
BSN preferred; recent specialty nursing experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

Provide direct comprehensive nursing care for patients from admission to discharge.
Collaborate with the health care team to ensure patient safety and high-quality outcomes.
