Kennedy University Hospitals, Inc seeks a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care using the nursing process. You will develop individualized plans of care with patients and care partners, addressing physical, psychological, and social needs in alignment with cultural beliefs.

Responsibilities include educating patients and families, coordinating with inter-professional teams, and participating in safety and quality initiatives. Valid NJ RN license and BLS certification are required.

Formación

• Specialized Diploma graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care and the ability to collaborate with patients and their families.
• Cultural awareness to connect with diverse backgrounds.
• Effective communication skills for transmitting and interpreting information with patients and families.
• Knowledge of discharge planning and post-discharge needs.

Responsabilidades

• Interacts with patients, families, and staff to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care.
• Partners with patients and families to identify learning needs and provide education.
• Uses information technology to communicate, manage knowledge, and monitor outcomes.
• Works in inter-professional teams to ensure safe, compassionate and coordinated care.
• Participates in safety, quality improvement, and committee activities.
• Acts as a primary preceptor to appropriate staff members.
