Job summary

Phoebe Putney Health System in Sylvester, GA is seeking an RN to provide direct patient care on the PWMC Acute Care I unit. You will assess patients, develop a care plan, and evaluate outcomes in line with hospital standards.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), a current Georgia RN license, and BLS. 1+ year of nursing experience is preferred; ASLS and NIHSS must be obtained within 2 years of hire where applicable. Shift is 7P7A, full-time.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing from a state-accredited school (Required)
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
• Work Experience 1 or more years of Nursing Experience (Preferred)
• Licenses and Certifications Registered Nurse (RN) with current Georgia license, Basic Life Support (BLS), If working on a designated stroke unit, Advanced Stroke Life Support (ASLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) must be obtained within 2 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collects data in a systematic and ongoing process. Assesses patients and develops plans of care.
• Implements plans safely and in a timely manner and documents changes.
• Collaborates with healthcare providers and makes referrals as appropriate.
• Utilizes community resources to implement the plan and ensures continuity of care.
• Engages in quality improvement and upholds patient safety and professional standards.
