Job summary

Bayou Bend Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Louisiana. The role requires a minimum of 2 years in acute care and current RN licensure in Louisiana, with BLS and ACLS certifications to be maintained.

The position covers night shifts 6 p.m.–6 a.m. and/or weekends, reporting to the Department Nurse Manager (and to the House Supervisor in their absence). TNCC and PALS are preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years Acute Care experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Emergency Department experience preferred.
• RN licensed in the State of Louisiana.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• TNCC and PALS preferred.
• Work nights 6 p.m.–6 a.m. and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department during nights and weekends.
• Collaborate with the Department Nurse Manager and House Supervisor as needed.
