Job summary

Summerlin Hospital, part of the Valley Health System within Universal Health Services (UHS), seeks a Registered Nurse to provide safe, competent nursing care and professional leadership in a busy hospital environment in Las Vegas, NV. The role emphasizes Patient Centered Care and service excellence across a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include Nevada RN licensure, BLS, and PALS or NRP as required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• One-year full-time or three years part-time experience in acute care setting preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of Nevada.
• Current BLS Certification; PALS or NRP Certification as required by department.
• Other certifications may be required by facility, specialty, or department.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Upholds Patient Centered Care as the foundation of all nursing care.
• Oversees and guides employees under supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
