Job summary

Prisma Health Greer Medical Campus is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide clinical direction and direct patient care in an acute inpatient setting. The role involves float across units, adherence to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards, and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Weekend, holiday, and on-call work may be required. Qualified candidates hold an RN license, an associate degree in nursing (bachelor’s preferred), and at least 2 years of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Requires RN licensure recognized in the state where the work is performed.
• Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Two (2) years of RN experience.
• Ability to float to various nursing units as needed.
• Includes weekend/holiday/on-call as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per the established nursing plan.
• Develop and update individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and inter-disciplinary team.
• Monitor and document patient status and progress.
• Ensure safety and infection control compliance.
• Coordinate discharge planning and referrals.
