Job summary

Froedtert West Bend Hospital in Wisconsin seeks a Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for adults in acute care units. This role emphasizes clinical competence in acute care and adherence to ANA standards.

The position is 0.6 FTE with night shifts and every third weekend. Licensure in Wisconsin or a multi-state compact is required, along with BLS within 90 days of hire and 12 months of inpatient experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin RN license or multi-state license.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers required within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 12 months of inpatient hospital nursing experience preferred.
• BSN preferred; non-BSN hires expected to enroll within 15 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for an identified adult patient group.
• Provide competent care within acute care units and navigate within assigned entity.
• Demonstrate adherence to ANA standards of nursing practice.
