Northshore Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Acute Care to provide direct patient care in a hospital setting. You’ll assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while collaborating with the care team.

Requirements include a Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing with an RN license; Bachelor’s degree is preferred. No prior experience is required, with up to 2 years acceptable.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Valid RN license required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• No prior experience necessary; less than 2 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within established standards.
• Promote patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and post-treatment needs.
• Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, as well as professional development.
• Develop and document individualized care plans, ensuring clear communication across care teams.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.
• Working in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safety at all times.

Education
