You will delegate appropriately and manage contingencies in the clinical environment. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, addressing psychosocial needs, administering medications, documenting care, and teaching patients and families.

Qualificações

• BSN preferred.
• One year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
• New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.
• Precepted onboarding and competency validation.

Responsabilidades

• Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Addresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in line with practice level.
• Administers medications and treatments per protocol; monitors side-effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.
• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, families, and caregivers.
