Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• RN license in state of employment or compact
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• ACLS certification required or within grace period

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of established nurse competencies.
• Provide nursing care using the nursing process for assigned patients.
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural and social needs of patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments using approved protocols; monitor effects.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications and care given.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families or caregivers.
