Qualifications

• Completes assessments as established by scope of practice and unit standards.
• Addresses physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patient and family.
• Formulates, coordinates, and provides plan of care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provides direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostics.
• Evaluates effectiveness of nursing interventions and revises care plan.
• Initiates collaboration with physicians and other team members.
• Participates in evidence-based practice and quality improvement.
• Accountable for unit and system metrics and patient safety education.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and organizes nursing activities to meet patient needs.
