Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of acute inpatient hospital experience.

• Knowledge of nursing process and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition using Nursing Process and document findings.
• Develop and revise individualized Plans of Care daily.
• Administer medications and IV therapy per policy and monitor for adverse effects.
• Document all care accurately on flow sheets and record systems.
• Provide patient and family education and discharge planning.
• Coordinate with case management and physicians for smooth transfers.
