Hanker Systems, Inc. in Glendale, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse for day shifts to deliver emergency care across pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.

You will perform rapid assessments, triage, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely care. The role requires an active California RN license and essential certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS); NIHSS and TEAM certifications are highly valued for trauma and stroke protocols.

Competenze

• Active California RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification and CPI/TEAM/TEAM-A preferred.

Mansioni

• Perform rapid patient assessments and triage according to acuity.
• Deliver emergency nursing care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care utilizing the nursing process.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to clinical changes.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and emergency treatments.
• Coordinate care with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacy, radiology, laboratory, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in trauma activations, stroke alerts, STEMI protocols, and emergency response situations.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and supervise support staff as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.
