Job summary

Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD is hiring a Registered Nurse for full-time, rotating 12-hour shifts. The role requires an active RN license in the state and offers a pay range of $32.50–$48.50 per hour with a sign-on bonus potential up to $6,000 or $15,000 with a 3-year commitment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• 1–3 years of clinical environment experience preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on days/evenings/nights.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by reviewing prescriptions and communicating care plans.
• Develop and document nursing diagnoses and care objectives.
• Teach patients and families about conditions, meds and self-care.
• Evaluate care and adjust plans based on outcomes.
• Maintain a safe care environment and adhere to policies and regs.
• Document nursing care in patient records.
