Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved respiratory therapy program leading to CRT or RRT eligibility.
• Current state license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• CRT or RRT credential from NBRC is required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapy treatments including oxygen therapy and nebulizer treatments.
• Manage and monitor mechanical ventilators.
• Document care interventions and patient responses.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff.

Skills

Knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment

Interpersonal and communication skills

Safe practice and infection control compliance

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Teamwork in multidisciplinary teams

Education

Graduate of a two-year AMA-approved respiratory therapy program
