Job summary

Hemet Hills Post Acute Hemet Community Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to provide therapy, rehabilitation, and direct patient care. You will assess patients, develop care plans, and perform interventions according to hospital protocols and policies.

Requirements include an accredited associate degree, licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications, and a preference for experience in acute or subacute settings.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited school is required.
• Graduate of a respiratory care program with licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (state-dependent).
• BS in health care is preferred; minimum one year of respiratory experience in acute/subacute units preferred.
• CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Follow supervisor schedules and hospital policies.
• Assess patient status and plan outcomes of care.
• Perform interventions per plan of care and hospital policy.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and report status changes to supervisors and physicians.
