Job summary

Proforma Health Inc. is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver comprehensive cardiopulmonary care under physician direction.

You will evaluate, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory disorders and administer therapies and medications. You will manage oxygen and airway support, educate patients and families, document care, and collaborate with care teams to optimize outcomes, including emergency respiratory support as needed.

Qualifications

• MissourI license as Respiratory Care Practitioner is required.
• NBRC credential (CRT/ RRT) is required.
• BLS/CPR certification is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with respiratory issues.
• Administer treatments, therapies, and medications as ordered.
• Manage oxygen therapy and airway support interventions.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses and care teams.
• Monitor patient response and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety standards.
• Provide emergency respiratory care when needed.

Education

Missouri Respiratory Care Practitioner License

CRT or RRT credential from NBRC

Current BLS/CPR certification

Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
