Job summary

Southern California Hospitals is seeking a Registered Nurse to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans for assigned patients. You will coordinate care with physicians and staff, reassess patient responses, and assist with discharge planning.

Ideal candidates will be California-licensed RNs with accredited nursing education, BLS, and flexibility to work varied shifts. BSN is preferred, bilingual ability a plus, and LA-specific safety credential may apply.

Qualifications

• Active, current RN license in California.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification.
• English reading, writing and communication proficiency.
• Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety Card (Los Angeles City Employees only).

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care and administer medications and treatments per standards.
• Develop and evaluate plan of care with patient and team, documenting outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to coordinate care and discharge planning.
• Communicate with patients and families with empathy and cultural sensitivity.

Education

Active California RN licensure

Accredited nursing school graduate

AHA BLS certification

BSN (preferred)

English communication ability
