Job Summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital is seeking an Acute Care Registered Nurse in Cardiac Telemetry for a full-time day shift. The RN Clinical Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care. The role involves practicing within a clinical environment guided by Nurse Managers, the Wellstar Shared Governance Model, and evidence-based practices, aligned with the Wellstar Professional Practice Model and the ANA Code of Ethics.

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions
  • Perform nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practices; ensure individualized care; foster effective partnerships with patients and families; adapt care to cultural diversity; and promote patient-centered care.
  • Practice according to current clinical standards and promote teamwork through effective communication, documentation, and a respectful environment.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities, research, and shared governance initiatives to enhance patient safety and care quality.
  • Complete ongoing professional development, serve as a preceptor or mentor, and promote evidence-based practice and research utilization.
  • Plan and develop protocols collaboratively, optimize resource use, and support system-wide care initiatives.
