Job summary

University Medical Center of El Paso (UMC) is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive patient care using the nursing process and to coordinate care across disciplines. Two years of RN experience are preferred, with Texas licensure and current CPR. BSN is preferred; ADN may be accepted with BSN within three years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Nursing is required; ADN may be considered if BSN obtained within three years.
• TNCC or ATCN training obtained within 1 year of joining the department.
• CPI training obtained within 1 year of position start date.
• ENPC training obtained within 1 year of assuming the role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Direct and coordinate all nursing care based on established clinical standards.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective care delivery and outcomes.
• Incorporate patient age and cultural diversity into care and safety practices.
