Blue Ridge Regional Hospital in Spruce Pine, NC is seeking an Acute Care Registered Nurse (PT) to join our care team. This department blends Med/Surg, Progressive Care and ICU to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

The RN will assess patients on admission and during shifts, perform provider-ordered procedures, document care, administer medications, and stay current on meds and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.

Qualifikationen

• One year of RN experience.
• Active NC nursing license (eNLC may apply).
• BLS, ACLS and CPI certifications required.
• Associates Degree in Nursing required.

Job Summary and Qualifications

This department is a combination of Med/Surg, Progressive Care and ICU patients.

The Acute Care Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care. In collaboration with medical providers, the RN provides pre-operative and post-operative nursing care. The RN serves as an advocate for patients to support an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:

• Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
• Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitors response.
• Maintain a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.

What qualifications you will need:

• Required Experience: One year of RN experience
• Preferred Experience: Strong hospital experience
• Required Education:Associates Degree in Nursing
• Required License:Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON.
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS and CPI
