Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist II – Acute to join our REMARKABLE acute care team at Presbyterian Medical Center. This role involves operating x-ray equipment, preparing patients, and obtaining diagnostic images in inpatient, ER, and OR settings, with a Thursday–Saturday evening schedule and no on-call requirement.

ARRT(R) certification is required, with a post-graduate window of six months for new grads; an associate degree is preferred, and prior acute care experience is

• ARRT certification in Radiography required; 6 months post-graduation window for new grads.
• 2 year / associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray equipment and prepare patients to obtain diagnostic images in acute care.
• Work independently or with physicians/APCs across inpatient/outpatient, ER, fluoroscopy, ports, and OR settings.
• Ensure ALARA principles and radiation safety compliance across clinical environments.
